- The new Graphic Pilot of Intel Arc 32.0.101.6734 better targets the management of the PC gaming PC supply
- It improves the stimulation of frames during the game to lower wings
- This could improve gaming sessions for users with less energy consumption and better performance
The portable game PC scene is developing quickly, and we still have much more to hope – especially the next Lenovo Legion Go 2 using Ryzen Z2 Extreme APU of AMD. However, one of the best portable games at the moment, the MSI Claw 8 AI +, has just received an exciting update.
As indicated by NoteBookcheck, the new Intel 32.0.101.6734 ARC graphical driver optimizes power management for Intel Core Ultra 200v processors, in particular 8 AI + Portable Party Game and MSI Claw 7 AI + (both using the Ultra 7 258V Core) now have a lot of game performance.
The pilot’s platform notes highlight the improvements in the “ stimulation of the ” frame to lower power modes, allowing users to play lower TDP (essentially lower wattages) while providing FPS and framework stimulation results. The latter is ideal, especially when you use features such as the Xess frame generation: lower TDP generally lead to poor frame stimulation, regardless of the height of your FPS, leading to a less coherent gaming experience.
With Intel targeting this, the generation of Xess frames may feel much more fluid, especially if the basic image frequencies are sufficiently high (a recommended native frames are generally about 40 IPS or more). It could also help prolong your game sessions, improving the management of food granting less battery consumption compared to former graphic drivers.
Now we just have to wait to see how Ryzen Z2 Extreme of AMD will perform …
Intel is currently taking the portable game PC scene by Storm, with its powerful SOCs offering exceptional performance on new CLAW AI +devices. I have not yet had the privilege of testing it myself (pretty please, MSI?), But on the basis of many reviews and performance results, it seems to dominate its key competitors like Asus Rog Ally X.
However, the verdict is not yet final: the Ryzen Z2 Extreme APU of AMD should arrive on the market during this year, probably appearing first in the Lenovo Legion Go 2. There are supposedly available performance results, which are probably based on the Radeon 880m or 890 m of Z2 Extreme has not yet been released).
I hope that the Ryzen Z2 Extreme offers a significant increase in performance compared to its predecessor Z1 Extreme – Sufficient performance jump to challenge the impressive Ultra 7 258V basic processor of the Blue team.
If this is not the case, there is still hope that the new FSR 4 scaling method of AMD was going to RDNA 3.5 equipment for performance and image quality in games. Currently, FSR 4 is exclusive to the GPU of DNA 4 (the Radeon RX 9000 series). Anyway, I am happy to see that the pocket computers of this generation receive the attention they deserve.
