BK Westbrook is one of the emerging talents on the independent scene.
The North Carolina native has appeared in several different promotions since late 2025, including Game Changer Wrestling, Pandemonium: Pro Wrestling, Deadlock Pro Wrestling, TBD Wrestling, among others. It’s not very often that professional wrestlers who travel across the indies get the chance to show off their abilities on television.

It was all the elite wrestling that made this possible.
Westbrook appeared on AEW’s “Collision” in May against “Speedball’s” Mike Bailey. He wrestled under his last name alone and lasted just over a minute with Bailey, who could be considered one of the sport’s top 10 professional wrestlers in any company. Westbrook recalled having the opportunity to showcase his work with AEW in a recent interview with PK Press Club Digital.
“It was cool. So, I did extra work a few times. I became a little bit in the background, just someone who’s just happy to be a part of the show,” he said. “But being on the show and being like wrestling, this is my first opportunity. Having the chance to wrestle Mike Bailey, who is someone I have a history with doing various independent shows over the years before he got this great AEW run and everything and being with him and like Deadlock Pro for example.

“I know quite a few people in AEW, so it was pretty cool to be in that environment. I was super happy to be able to be on TV. I might not have been BK Westbrook, I might have just been ‘Westbrook,’ but the guy is still there. I was grateful for the opportunity. Absolutely. It was a good time.”
Westbrook is expected to reappear at Pandemonium Pro’s “JoJo” event in August. The show will raise funds for the family of the late Jordan Saint, who was killed in a car accident.
