Roman Reigns wanted Jacob Fatu in the ring for a “recognition ceremony” on “Monday Night Raw,” despite concerns from general manager Adam Pearce and Jimmy Uso.
Reigns learned the hard way the old adage: “Be careful what you wish for.”
Despite signing the contract that Fatu would have to “recognize” Reigns after he lost the World Heavyweight Championship, Fatu would have none of it.
Instead, he chose violence. He ignored Jey Uso’s pleas to think about what he was doing. Fatu, instead, headbutted Uso several times.

“What do you think?” Do you want me to come say hello, Roman? » said Fatu. “Hell no!” You’re going to take this recognition away from me.
Fatu didn’t have time to let anyone try to talk him out of it. It was really all gas and no brakes. He came into the ring, looked at Reigns and the two went to work. The two men exchanged blows in the ring and it looked like Reigns was going to gain the advantage. He hit Fatu with a chair several times, trying to get Fatu to recognize him.
But the “Samoan werewolf” was not deterred. Reigns went for a spear but was met with a superkick and the Tongan death grip. Everything was difficult for the “tribe leader”. He mocked Reigns as he continued to beat him.
He then delivered a powerbomb to Reigns through the announce table. The assault did not stop there. He hit Reigns with another Tongan death grip as those in charge from the back tried to keep him at bay.

Before walking to the back, he saw the Usos taking care of Reigns. He came running back at full speed and sent the three men through the barricade.
Seth Rollins tries to thaw his relationship with Street Profits
Seth Rollins helped Street Profits win in a six-way match against The Vision by eliminating Bron Breakker from the outside. Angelo Dawkins rolled up Austin Theory to take the win.
Rollins came into the ring to help Dawkins up. But as Breakker returned to the ring and lined up for a spear, Rollins moved out of the way, causing Dawkins to take the damage. Montez Ford returned to the ring and wondered what Rollins was doing in the first place.
Rollins, Ford and Dawkins were talking in the back.
“If you really want to get the titles from The Vision, then it’s time we talked,” Rollins said, speaking to Dawkins and Ford backstage.
Ford said there was no “we” in the conversation, while Dawkins wanted to hear from Rollins.
Rollins said he was “wrong” to tell the Street Profits that all parties should keep their affairs to themselves.
“You know, Seth, you’re everything they say you are,” Ford said. “Everyone. The greatest of our generation. A revolutionary. But you know what they say too? We can’t trust you. We don’t need your a– to win the tag team championship. Bet on it.”
The Street Profits will go for team gold in two weeks when they take on Logan Paul and Theory.

The AAA Mega Championship is the most prestigious title in Lucha Libre Worldwide (AAA) and perhaps all of Lucha Libre depending on who you ask. The title was defended for the first time on WWE programming on Monday night.
Dominik Mysterio put the belt on the line against Original El Grande Americano. Mysterio took advantage of Original El Grande Americano being distracted by El Grande Americano. He hit the 619 and a frog splash to get the win.
The title defense follows WWE’s announcement of a two-night Triplemania event for September. This will be the first time that AAA’s premier event will take place over two nights.

Asuka met Sky backstage before the “Genius of the Sky” match against Sol Ruca. She said she was looking for someone to take over as leader and found him in Sky.
“I was looking for someone to take up my passion. Finally, you became the person. I’m so happy it was you,” Asuka said. “I’m proud of you.”
Sky replied, “Even if we fight, we will always be a family. Goodbye, Asuka-san.”
