JD Vance Considers Skipping 2028 Presidential Race: Here’s Why

United States Vice President JD Vance is considering dropping out of the 2028 presidential race amid declining political prospects and broader geopolitical tensions.

Reports suggest the 41-year-old’s supporters advised him to drop out of the race to avoid a backlash from Americans amid growing disapproval of President Trump.

Insiders reveal the Republican Party leader would be better off if he didn’t “own everything that’s happened over the last two years.”

The Allies believe that he is still young and has a viable career ahead of him and that it would be better for him not to participate in the 2028 presidential election and to try his luck at another time when political conditions become more feasible.

However, a source close to the US vice-president said the window to become commander-in-chief of the United States is very slim for every politician, adding: “If you don’t go when that window is open, chances are it will never open again.” ยป

They added that maintaining political relevance until 2032 or 2036 will be a daunting task.

Addressing the Daily Mail speaking on condition of anonymity, the source said: “In terms of age, he would be quite young. But in terms of momentum, there would be a brighter penny on the street.”

Vance has not publicly confirmed whether he intends to run for president in 2028.
