Katie Price says her family is protecting her by keeping Lee Andrews at arm’s length

Katie Price has spoken out about her family’s true feelings towards her new husband Lee Andrews, revealing they wanted nothing to do with him.

The former glamor model, 48, appeared on This morning on Wednesday, where she joined Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard in the ITV studio to discuss her new Sky documentary, Katie Price: Nothing to hide.

The mother-of-five opened up about her whirlwind marriage to Lee, whom she married just two weeks after meeting him.

Katie admitted her marriage had become a “gimmick” and urged Lee to stay off social media.

Katie also insisted Lee was considering coming to the UK despite reports he would be subject to a travel ban.

For those who don’t know, Lee was recently released from a prison in Dubai, where he had been held for a month for alleged fraud-related offenses.

She continued: “So when he comes to England he said he would take a lie detector test, but it’s become such a fancy joke now, no one even believes it’s a marriage now, it’s just not fair.

“Especially like my family, they don’t want anything to do with him and you can’t blame them for what’s happening.”

Katie then revealed that her loved ones would refuse to meet Lee if he tried to contact them to arrange a meeting.

She went on to say, “I want them to [meet Lee]but for the moment, they say “no”, because they protect me.

“I love it, my family, my friends, everyone protects me.

THE Celebrity Big Brother the winner is now ready to tell her side of the story in her highly anticipated documentary Katie Price: Nothing to hide.

The documentary is available on Sky and the Now streaming service from July 8.
