Islamabad:

Kazakhstan should officially announce its participation in Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline, announcing a new chapter of regional energy cooperation.

This development was shared by the Kazakhstan ambassador at a meeting with the Federal Minister of Pakistan of Science and Technology, Khalid Hussain Malsa, held on Tuesday in Islamabad.

The high -level meeting has focused on strengthening bilateral links in key areas, including education, scientific research and technological collaboration.

The two parties expressed a firm commitment to deepen strategic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.

Khalid Hussain Magsi revealed that the two nations are finalizing several understanding memorandums (MOUS) aimed at stimulating collaboration in the education sector.

He welcomed the interest of Kazakhstan to improve institutional links, in particular the proposal to establish a joint research center at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad.

The Kazakh ambassador stressed the importance of creating a conducive commercial environment and collaborative measures proposed to limit smuggling.

He stressed that Kazakhstan considers Pakistan as a key regional partner to achieve common objectives of economic connectivity and scientific progress.
