Major League Wrestling (MLW) World Heavyweight Champion Killer Kross has been the company’s top player since winning the title at Battle Riot VIII in January.

With the debut of “MLW Fusion” on Veeps on Saturday, Kross’ pro wrestling prowess will be exposed to a whole new global audience hungry for in-ring action. He told PK Press Club Digital in a recent interview that he is very excited about the new partnership.

“Honestly, selfishly, I have to say I’m very happy about it,” he said. “I had some of my best performances, probably in my entire career, with MLW. Just having the time to go there, the main event and basically have the creative freedoms to be able to tell people the stories that I think they want to see from me. It’s awesome and to have it on a streaming service where everyone can watch it, I mean, I can’t ask for more.”

Kross is part of a roster loaded with familiar faces.

Donovan Dijak and Bishop Dyer are the MLW World Tag Team Champions while Matt Riddle, Austin Aries, Shotzi, Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows, Scarlett Bordeaux, Blue Panther and Paul Walter Hauser are just a handful of names who are also part of the hard-hitting action.

Kross said the amount of talent, bringing different styles to the ring, really shows what professional wrestling is all about.

“I think there’s a good mix of what people love about modern professional wrestling, like this hybrid style of Lucha, there’s nostalgic elements,” he told PK Press Club Digital. “I always come back to ECW – just the extreme nature of it all. They can literally go anywhere, it can go off the rails, get back on track. The creative freedom that we all have as artists there is virtually limitless to a degree where we don’t necessarily set ourselves on fire and dive off the roof. But it’s a very collaborative experience working with MLW for all of us.

“We can really build on what we know the audience wants to see from us as performers and together create something that people want to watch. All of that, I think, really gives a special nature to the audience watching because a lot of professional wrestling shows, they have guidelines that they have to follow behind closed doors, we don’t necessarily have those kinds of guidelines. We can go as far as we want. If the people in the ring have the abilities, which they have, they come from the world whole, different levels of experience, there are no limits to the types of stories we can tell, which is very, very fun as a performer to be under a roof like that.”
