King Charles and Prince William ‘can’t’ reach out to Harry due to major risk

King Charles is reportedly working to hasten a truce between his two warring sons as he continues his cancer treatment.

Although Charles met his son last September during a meeting at Clarence House, no meeting took place between father and son during the king’s state visit to the United States.

Following last year’s meeting, there has been no official update on the matter, but reports claim Charles is keen to resolve a “trivial and exhausting” feud. However, former royal editor Duncan Larcombe believes connecting with Harry is a mammoth task since trust levels are still at an all-time low.

“Charles is in an impossible position right now,” Duncan said. The Mirror. “He and Prince William cannot contact Harry for fear he will make it public.”

The expert described it as a “big blockage,” even though they actively wanted to finally reconcile.

“If they got back in touch, they would run the risk of Harry and Meghan divulging more personal details and dropping more bombshells about what’s going on,” he said. “Therein lies the fear for the royal family.”

He said that if the Duke of Sussex received a call from his father saying: “I’m coming to the United States, I’d like to see you”, the risk of Harry making the information public remains high.

The breakdown in trust is “significant” and it will take some time before it heals enough for everyone to come together for a one-on-one.
