King Charles has finally made his feelings clear about a highly anticipated public meeting with Prince Harry.
For those who don’t know, the Duke of Sussex is set to bring his passion project, the Invictus Games, to his home country of Birmingham in 2027.
For promotional purposes, Harry is even scheduled to travel to the UK next month ahead of the main event.
It was earlier reported that Archie and Lilibet’s father would love for the royal family to take part in a project close to their hearts.
Now the Daily Mail claimed a friend of Charles revealed the monarch was “keen to show his support” for the Invictus Games.
“Like the rest of the royal family, Her Majesty believes that Invictus is a very good cause,” the source explained.
King Charles “hopes that the Games will be a great success for Birmingham next year and is aware that a large proportion of taxpayers’ money has been spent on them.”
This positive update from the monarch’s circle must be uplifting for Harry, who has repeatedly expressed his desire to make peace with his family, particularly amid his father’s health problems.
