King Charles receives alarming update on his health amid cancer treatment

Alarming health update reaches King Charles household: ‘Harmful’

King Charles has been alerted of a serious health crisis in a new press release.

Many British homes, including royal family palaces, have indoor wood fires; however, this practice is now associated with life-threatening illnesses.

According to Global Action Plan, a sustainable future charity, it has called for banning wood heating inside homes to prevent health problems.

In addition, domestic wood fires are also becoming a source of pollution, particularly in the context of the climate crisis.

King Charles is one of millions of people warned against a simple home practice linked to “respiratory and heart diseases and cancer”. Global Action Plan is a sustainable future charity calling for a ban on wood fires inside homes.

Open fireplaces are common in most royal residences. While current UK guidelines allow wood burning within certain regulations, campaigners are pushing for a total ban due to its harmful effects.

The Global Action Plan website is shared. “In the UK, domestic burning contributes significantly to outdoor air pollution, as the largest source of PM2.5 pollution (27%), one of the most harmful air pollutants.

“It’s also a problem indoors, as homes with a wood stove have on average PM2.5 levels three times higher than those without one. Exposure to PM2.5 and household combustion fumes has been linked to respiratory and heart disease and cancer.”
