King Charles and Queen Camilla’s second day at Royal Ascot was very lively as the turnout was particularly impressive.
On Wednesday, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne and Sir Tim Laurence came to watch the races with their newly married son and daughter-in-law. Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall were also in attendance.
However, there was other royalty among them and he even had the honor of performing a special task. Hollywood superstar Henry Cavill – best known for playing the Man of Steel – made a stylish appearance for the annual event.
THE Enola Holmes The star appeared to channel Sherlock Holmes as he joined a group of friends and was seen chatting. During an interview, Henry was asked what it was like to watch the races and go down to the ring where all the royalty, including King Charles, Prince William and Princess Kate, were present.
“It’s been absolutely incredible,” Henry said, noting it was his first time at Royal Ascot and seeing the royal family.
He added that although he saw the race with them in the ring, he was not “with” them.
Henry also revealed that he had to ring the bell, which signaled that the horses were about to round the final bend.
