Lena Dunham is best known for her famous show, Girlsbut that was not how her current husband, Luis Felber, knew her when he first approached her.
The 40-year-old multi-hyphenate star gave a glimpse into her early relationship with the 39-year-old musician during a Evil of fame book tour event with former co-star Rita Wilson.
Dunham recalls: “What was so amazing about meeting him was that he had never seen Girls“, sharing that Felber texted her on Instagram, asking, “Do you think, do you think you could handle having dinner with this person?”
THE Too much The writer revealed that her husband assumed she was a curvy model and “I was like, ‘That’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard,'” she told Wilson.
Wilson jokingly added that this might be the truth, urging Dunham to call famous plus-size model Ashley Graham, to which she responded, “Well, I’m going to call her after this and see what she thinks I should do.”
Shedding light on Felber’s early approach to Dunham, she added that he “didn’t seem to have a lot of preconceived notions about who I was. He was present and interested but not overly interested.”
Dunham went on to call her husband “truly amazing.”
The couple first met in 2021 after being set up on a blind date, and soon moved in together, before getting married the same year in September.
