Alpine Club of Pakistan congratulates Malaika, the ‘proud daughter’ of Balochistan, and her family on this historic achievement

In a historic achievement for Pakistan’s mountaineering community, Malaika Khilji, a 14-year-old student from Balochistan, became the first woman from the province to summit the Khosar Gang Peak.
The expedition, organized under the auspices of the Pakistan Alpine Club, marks a milestone in the country’s climbing history, said a statement issued here.
After successfully reaching the summit, Malaika Khilji hoisted the green and white flag of Pakistan, a gesture symbolizing her love for the country and the determination of Pakistani youth.
