This weekend, the Duchess of Sussex released a video titled “Memorial Weekend Plans.”
For those who aren’t, Americans celebrate Memorial Day by mourning and honoring fallen service men and women on the last Monday in May.
In her post, Meghan shared the scones recipe while promoting As Ever products.
“Create warm scones topped with our strawberry or raspberry spread, orange blossom honey and flower sprinkles,” she wrote alongside the full recipe.
However, Meghan’s latest Instagram move didn’t sit well with fans for two main reasons.
First, netizens pointed out the odd timing, as the former Suits actress spoke about scones shortly after Prince William’s comment about Britain’s favorite scones in his Heart FM interview.
It has raised questions about Meghan keeping tabs on Prince Harry’s family members and “overshadowing” their social media presence.
While other fans expressed their disappointment at the Duchess of Sussex’s choice to prepare traditional British dishes for the US holiday.
