Senior Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Dr Farooq Sattar has contacted the Sindh Information Commission seeking release of the investigation report and associated official documents on the Gul Plaza tragedy.
Accompanied by lawyer Moshir Tariq Mansoor, Dr Sattar submitted a petition to the commission seeking full access to the inquiry commission’s report and proceedings related to the incident. He stressed that it was the legal and moral responsibility of state institutions to make public the facts of such tragedies and identify those responsible.
