ISLAMABAD:
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday visited the Margalla Highway-Highway Extension Project site and ordered that the Sangjani Interchange on GT Road be completed by July 31.
Officials say the 1.7-mile-long project would have a three-lane roadway on both sides, as well as a two-lane service road. The plan also included a GT Road interchange, two underpasses and a bridge to ensure smooth and uninterrupted traffic flow.
The Interior Minister, during his visit, inspected the ongoing construction activities and received a detailed briefing on the various components of the project.
