Hollywood loves a dramatic moment – but this one wasn’t scripted.
Nicole Kidman reportedly pushed her limits while filming a wrestling scene for Margo has money problems – and ended up in the hospital afterwards.
The twist? She had the flu all the time.
Co-star Nick Offerman set the scene: “Here we are in the morning…some of us are going to do some real wrestling.” Then came the bad news: “Nicole has the flu and we may not have Nicole today.” »
Spoiler: she arrived anyway.
“And we’re like, ‘Oh no…'” Offerman recalls. But Kidman walked in – pale, trembling and absolutely not backing down. “She was so sick,” he said. Still, she handled it like a pro.
“She showed up and made sure we got every photo of her, in total superhero style.”
Yes, superhero… with a fever.
After the physically intense shoot, Kidman was taken to the hospital for IV treatment – a not-so-glamorous conclusion to a very busy work day.
His state of mind? Simple. “When I got in the ring, I was like, ‘OK, let’s do it.'”
This attitude pretty much sums up why she’s still at the top.
With co-stars like Michelle Pfeiffer and Elle Fanning, the show is already packed — but Kidman’s spunk might just be her most talked about performance.
