Nintendo announced that the servers of Mario Kart Tour will be closed later this year.
The company informed players in a new blog post, confirming that the mobile racing spin-off, first launched in 2019 for iOS and Android, will stop working on September 29 at 11 p.m. PT / 2 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. BST.
“Service for the Mario Kart Tour the game for smart devices will end at 11:00 p.m. PT on September 29,” the message read.

In the FAQ, Nintendo confirmed that “there are no plans to release an offline version,” meaning it’s officially the end of mobile. Mario Kart game for now.
All automatic subscription renewals and new subscriptions to the Mario Kart Tour Gold Passes were discontinued during game maintenance on July 7, in conjunction with the game’s end-of-service period.
