- Lenovo, LG and Razer have disclosed certain laptop computers bearing the GPUs RTX 5060 and 5050
- These leaks are in the form of lists of press materials or products
- They support the rumor that Nvidia will reveal these mobile graphics cards in a few weeks
We think that the NVIDIA RTX 5060 RTX 5060 graphics card is supposed to land very soon – perhaps next week, in fact – and the laptop spin on the GPU may not be far behind, because other leaks have indicated its existence, and the RTX 5050 mobile, too.
VIDEOCARDZ reports that these laptop graphics cards should arrive in two weeks, and some carnal manufacturers have already published press equipment or lists of products that accidentally mention the GPUs.
The incriminated sellers are Lenovo, LG and Razer, so take them in this order.
As part of a unpacking video on Youtube, Lenovo highlighted an Ideapad Pro 5 16 inch laptop which arrives later this year as having an NVIDIA RTX 5050 graphics card, with this GPU mentioned in the description of the clip.
More recently, LG announced its laptop Gram Pro for 2025, and in the press release published via its Taiwanese press center, there is also a mention of the RTX 5050 (not for the first time, I should add).
The manufacturer of laptops says: “In addition, the Gram Pro 16 equipped with the discreet graphics card NVIDIA RTX 5050 should also be available in pre-order in the second quarter of this year.”
A footnote to the version also specifies that the RTX 5050 will be equipped with 8 GB of Video RAM.
Finally, the Chinese Razer website already lists the new Razer Blade 16 for 2025, and one of the GPU options is the RTX 5060 Mobile.
Analysis: Hope for the best, but fearing the worst (at least in terms of supply)
While the GPUs for laptop RTX 5060 and 5050 are supposed to come with 8 GB of video RAM on board, there could be slow more in the lower model. As Videocardz notes, instead of the more recent (and much faster) GDDR7 as shown by other Blackwell GPUs, Nvidia can return to GDDR6 with this least low model. (This would be the case for the RTX 5050 office, certainly – and yes, the theory is that there will be an office lap on the graphics card this time, when there has never been an RTX 4050 office).
Given that on the Office GPU side of the equation, the RTX 5060 TI is supposed to arrive next week, and the RTX 5060 should also be revealed. If Videocardz is correct, Nvidia will have a separate announcement the following week for these mobile GPUs.
We will see, but with these laptop graphics cards appearing in several places now – with a specific mention of the availability of Q2 in a case (LG), which means a launch before June 2025 – it seems that the right bet they are in search of outing.
Many players will undoubtedly be eager to see what type of price for more affordable laptops using the RTX 5050 GPU could land, and whether they will (or not) do cell laptops with excellent budget. Much of this will depend on the performance level of the RTX 5050, of course, and we do not yet have much to the rumor of specification for this model (or on the laptop 5060, by the way).
Availability is also a concern here, since, even if laptops with Blackwell GPUs inside “launched” at the end of March, you cannot buy them. They were all registered as out of stock from the start, and although they should become available throughout April, it is not clear on what type of quantities. The way Blackwell Supply has been held so far, however, does not encourage exactly confidence.
