I love the song Something to say by Badly Drawn Boy, so I was humming that to myself while I played today’s Strands. I bet I wasn’t the only one.
Meanwhile, I really struggled with today’s match. The first two words I spotted, BODY and POINT, came up while I was looking for non-gaming words and neither helped me move forward because I couldn’t see the connection between them.
It took two clues, HOOK and TOPIC, before we finally figured out that the topic was about the conversation. I’m so used to Strands’ themes being obtuse that I often miss them when they’re obvious.
