NYT Strands today (game #806) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #806, are…
- ORANGE
- CLEMENTINE
- LIME
- KUMQUAT
- POMELO
- TANGERINE
- SPANGRAM: CITRUS
- My rating: Easy
- My rating: Perfect
Another easy game, although it has been made slightly more difficult with the elimination of CITRUS’ most common fruit, the lemon.
Instead of lemon, we had two less spotted fruits: KUMQUAT, which looks like a miniature orange and is often used to make marmalade, and POMELO, a pomegranate-melon hybrid that took me several tries because I was trying to connect it as a polemo.
After finishing the game, I was excited to discover that the polemo actually exists and is famous (although not that famous, obviously) for being the largest citrus fruit.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Sunday May 17, match #805)
- DASHBOARD
- TRACKS
- PIN
- BALLS
- LIVING ROOM
- ARCADE
- SPANGRAM: BOWLINGALLE
