I’m not sure how I knew that herpetology was related to amphibians and reptiles, but it occurred to me somehow.
Most likely it had something to do with my recent David Attenborough documentary binge, but either way it was a big help in solving today’s game. It also helped that I spotted BULLFROG almost instantly.
Despite my confidence in the theme, this game remained a challenge, much like the beasts themselves; every word was well camouflaged and we had a spangram that zigzagged all over the board.
