NYT Strands today (game #829) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #829, are…
- PHOTO
- DEPOSIT
- SOFTWARE
- DOCUMENT
- APPLICATION
- SONG
- SPANGRAM: DOWNLOAD
- My rating: Hard
- My rating: 1 clue
My first thoughts around the theme of “something just clicked” were either something to do with things with switches, or perhaps songs with finger clicks (Under pressure by Queen and David Bowie is my favorite).
In the end, though, it was all about mouse clicks and the many things we could DOWNLOAD to our desktop.
It’s rare that we have a game word longer than spangram and I’m having a hard time understanding why I completely failed to see the word APPLICATION.
Instead, I started with PHOTO, which kept me on a “things with switches and buttons” track before a clue gave me FILE and I changed my thinking.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Tuesday June 9, match #828)
- SNACKS
- FLOODS
- BRIDGE
- SEASICKNESS
- DRINKS
- DANCING
- SPANGRAM: IMONABOAT
