Pakistani citizens can now ask five -year visas from the United Arab Emirates, the water ambassador, Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi announced on Tuesday at a meeting with the Sindh governor, Kamran Khan Tessori.

The announcement was made to the house of the governor of Karachi, where the ambassador was joined by the consul general of water Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi.

Al Zaabi also invited the governor to visit the water visa center in Karachi and expressed support for the governor’s development initiatives.

As part of the visit, the ambassador participated in a walk in trees and attended a flag’s Saigment ceremony. He signed the guest book, qualifying the event as a symbol of lasting friendship between the two nations.

The announcement follows the confirmation of the water authorities that no visa ban exists for Pakistani nationals.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the new five -year visa policy of the United Arab Emirates obliges candidates to submit return tickets, hotels reservations, proof of property if necessary and a deposit of 3,000 AED.

Pakistani candidates have been examined in recent years due to concerns about false documents, exaggerated visa and inappropriate use of social media.

The Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi resumed these questions with the water authorities.
