King Charles and Queen Camilla will end their three-day visit to Northern Ireland after a “distressing” incident.
The monarch, who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer, appeared in good spirits and active as she enjoyed a “sunny afternoon in Hillsborough”.
Buckingham Palace shared a special, albeit reassuring, update noting that Charles was in good health and continuing his duties on schedule despite a British radio station’s mistake.
“The King and Queen attended a Garden Party at Hillsborough Castle with brilliant people from Northern Ireland’s voluntary and charitable sectors,” the message read.
“Guests were invited in recognition of the positive impact they have made within their communities.”
