Islamabad:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered the authorities concerned on Thursday to provide an area of play to local industries and integrate the proposals of industrial and commercial organizations in the next federal budget.
The Prime Minister, presiding over a review of the Export Facilitation Scheme (EFS), said that the country’s increase in exports to increase national income was part of the government’s priorities.
During the meeting, provisional recommendations from the Committee formed to make the scheme more effective and benefiting from the export sector were presented.
The Prime Minister asked for a more in -depth consultation with the experts concerned on the recommendations of the committee aimed at improving the program to facilitate the importation of raw materials and machines for the export -oriented industries.
He ordered the Committee to finalize his provisional recommendations after new consultations and present the report soon.
