Princess Kate forced to withdraw from key event due to health concerns

Princess Kate has been strictly advised to keep her distance from a historic event despite her desperate pleas to be there in person.

The Princess of Wales has suffered serious health problems, including her battle with cancer for which she received nine months of treatment.

Catherine recently made an appearance at Wimbledon, following her Three Peaks Challenge, which she took on for personal development following her cancer journey. The future queen now appears to be in good health and has resumed her regular engagements.

However, there have been certain events in the past that she wished she could attend despite her health condition. During BBC documentary Our Wimbledon, Catherine revealed to Sue Barker how she missed a historic Wimbledon match in 2013, even though she “begged” to go.

“I was very pregnant with George, so I couldn’t turn up,” Kate said.

To which Sue Barker replied: “But you had a great excuse!” »

“I know, but still,” Kate said. “I was kind of like, ‘Maybe I could go,’ but the doctors were like, ‘No.’ I wrote to [Andy Murray] then I apologize for not being there, but I congratulate you enormously.

It was the year Sir Andy Murray reached the men’s singles final and attempted to become the first Briton to win the Grand Slam since Fred Perry in 1936.
