Sarah Ferguson received unexpected support from Princess Kate, with the future queen believing Fergie was receiving unfair treatment compared to “shameful” Andrew.
According to ExaminerThe future queen expressed her feelings behind palace doors over the harsh behavior of some members of the royal family towards Fergie.
Catherine still maintains the same stance to maintain her distance from the Yorks, but she thinks Sarah deserves some sort of closure.
Earlier, it was reported that Queen Camilla, who once shared a good bond with Fergie, had “blocked” her number after the Epstein scandal.
A close source shared: “It’s no secret Sarah is reaching out and at least trying to have a dialogue, but the doors are firmly closed.”
“No one will answer her calls. She’s totally shut out and she’s made it known that it’s tormenting her because she desperately needs some sort of closure,” the source said.
Amid growing tensions, Princess Kate has taken a bold stance that the former Duchess of York should be given one last chance and let her speak on the phone.
“Kate doesn’t think this is the right way to handle this. She thinks Sarah deserves some pity, that they should take her calls and let her speak out,” the report said.
The Princess of Wales believes that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor “got off relatively easily despite his serious mistakes”.
Kate Middleton thought strategically, because keeping Sarah in the loop saves the royal family from a future memoir or tell-all interview.
