Assassin’s Creed Black Flag resynced Creative director Paul Fu shared his favorite elements that Ubisoft added to the upcoming remake.
Speaking in an interview with TechRadar Gaming during a recent Resynchronized Black Flag preview event in Paris, Fu revealed that there are three things he is most looking forward to for players to experience. “Now, we’ve already talked about the combat system. Yes, I really like working with this system,” Fu said, before praising the all-new missions, which will be connected to supporting characters like Black Beard and Stede Bonnet.
“I love the new missions we’ve added for existing characters that I can’t reveal to you right now,” he said. “Amazing. I love them. Kudos to the team who made this and wrote this.
While Fu couldn’t go into detail, he also confirmed that he “loves” the new endgame chapters added by the team, suggesting that the remake might be different from the 2013 original.
“Please know that we have received a lot of positive feedback to the story, so we hope players enjoy it,” Fu said.
When asked what he thinks is the coolest thing the team has added to the game, Fu revealed some new music that can be discovered along the journey. Ubisoft previously confirmed that new music, including sea shanties, had been created for Resynchronizedand Fu is looking forward to the players’ reactions.
“Look out for the new songs in the game that you haven’t heard yet today, they’re going to be really good, especially for some of the new quests,” he said.
Players will be able to discover the new quests when Assassin’s Creed Black Flag resynced will launch on July 9 on PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC.
