The United Arab Emirates now offer a 5 year old visa to Pakistanis

The ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (Water) to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, announced that problems related to the visa between the two countries had been resolved. Pakistani citizens can now obtain a five -year visa, according to a press release published Tuesday by the Governor’s house.

Al Zaabi, accompanied by the Consul General, Dr. Bakheet Ateeq al-Remeithi, met the governor of Sindh, Karmran Tessori, at the governor. During the meeting, Al Zaabi invited the governor to visit the Visa Center of the Consulate of Water in Karachi.

In December of last year, a Senate committee was informed that all Pakistani travelers in the water were to undergo a police check and verification. This development intervened after the water authorities increased the attention of Pakistani visitors due to concerns about participation in criminal activities, including begging.

A few weeks later, during another meeting on January 9, the Senate Committee on the permanence of Pakistani and the development of human resources abroad was informed that the water visas had been “officially closed” for concerns that certain Pakistanis, after their arrival on visit visas, resorts to begging.

“Visa problems have been resolved, the Pakistani can get a five -year visa,” said Ambassador Al Zaabi’s press release as the meeting. He added that the ambassador invited the governor to visit the water visa center in Karachi.

On this occasion, according to the press release, Tessori thanked the water envoy for the investment of his country in the province, in particular in Karachi. The ambassador welcomed the ongoing projects as part of the governor’s initiative at Governor House.

Later, the water envoy planted a young tree in the trees planting campaign at the Governor’s house and hoisted the national flags of the two countries. He also recorded his impressions in the visitor’s book, concluded the press release.
