The AOOSTAR WTR MAX Mini PC is a compact NAS reader powered by the AMD R7 Pro 8845HSV company processor, which works at speeds ranging from 3.8 GHz and 5.1 GHz.
The system supports up to 11 storage discs, including five NVME M.2 2280 – three to PCIe 4.0 x2 and two to PCIe 4.0 x1 – and six SATA locations of 2.5 inches or 3.5 inches, for up to 500 TB of storage capacity.
Although the AOOSTAR WTR MAX is mainly designed as a NAS, it offers the potential to serve as a powerful workstation with the support of the SO-DIMM DDR5-5600 with double channel, extendable up to 128 GB with the ECC support.
Real -time monitoring
The WTR Max offers a wide range of connectivity options, including doubles USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, a USB4 port and an OCULINK (PCIE 4.0 X4) which can be used to increase graphic performance with an external GPU or develop storage more via an enclosure of hard drive.
The networking features include the LAN 2.5 g ports and two Intel X710 10 GB LAN (SFP +) ports. For multimedia or multitasking needs, HDMI 2.1 ports and Type-C support the 4K 240Hz triple display output.
Thermal management is managed by the Aoostar Pro 1.0 Glacier Cooling System, which combines a large steam chamber threadpower for the APU and double rear fans to regulate drive temperatures.
For real -time surveillance, Aoostar includes an integrated screen associated with its owner NAS control software, providing practical system statistics such as CPU, GPU and RAM use.
The Aostar WTR Max is now available for pre -order, with the Barebone version at a price of $ 699.00. Shipping should start in May 2025.
