Prosecutors have been allowed to review Tiger Woods’ medical records relating to his March car crash in Florida that led to his arrest for driving under the influence.

Judge Darren Steeler last week approved a deal between Woods’ defense and the state’s attorney’s office, allowing prosecutors to request records from Cleveland Clinic Martin South Hospital. Woods was taken there after the March 27 accident.

A similar deal was reached in May that gave prosecutors access to all of Woods’ prescription drug records at a pharmacy in Palm Beach, Florida. The records spanned from the beginning of 2026 to the end of March.

Doug Duncan, who represents Woods in the case, reached an agreement with prosecutors to only allow the hospital and pharmacy records to be released to them, law enforcement agents, state experts and the defense team.

Woods, who recently made his first public appearance since his car accident made national headlines, has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence. He was found with two prescription painkillers in his pocket when he was arrested, while he also showed signs of impairment.

Woods’ vehicle struck a truck trailer and flipped onto its side during the incident on Jupiter Island. Woods was driving at a high speed on a 30 mph highway, according to the incident report, which also said the truck he hit caused $5,000 in damage.

Woods agreed to take a breathalyzer test, which showed no signs of alcohol in his system at that time. But he refused to take a urine test, according to law enforcement.

Woods was granted permission on April 1 to leave the country to enter an inpatient treatment center, believed to be in Zurich, Switzerland.

Since then, Woods has been seen introducing PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp at a monumental press conference for the golf organization late last month, his first appearance since returning from treatment.
