Tiger Woods will always be part of the tradition of masters.

Woods will conceive a course of nine holes and per-3 in a renovated municipal route which, for almost 100 years, had been an affordable alternative for golfers seeking to enter the national national Augusta national. The renovation is funded by Augusta National Golf Club.
Woods’ Foundation will also build an educational center for local public students.
“We also recognize the importance of deepening Tiger’s inheritance in Augusta and with the masters, and what we felt was a lasting way that we could be forever linked to Tiger and all that he did to the Masters and now everything he will do in this community,” said Augusta national president Fred Riley.
The municipal golf course of Augusta is known as Patch, named after the vegetable gardens which were once near the property. He closed at the end of December for a 15 -month renovation project.

The Par-3 route will be known as the patch loop in honor of the National Caddies of Augusta who gathered there to play golf.
“It is an important day for all of us at the TGR Foundation to be able to have this moment, to be able to do it in conjunction with Augusta,” said Woods in pre -recorded remarks on Monday “and do something in a place that told me so much in my life.”
Riley promised to maintain prices during affordable municipal courses.
“I can promise you that the word” affordability “will continue to be the watchword. We have realized that this is an asset for the community and everyone in the community,” he said.

Woods will not play masters this year. He suffered an Achilles injury which will take a while to recover.
