The 2026 World Cup is well underway and with the group stage set to continue until June 27, it will certainly have some surprises in store as the 48 competing teams vie for a place in the knockout stages.

Who is playing in the World Cup today?
We have four matches today, as the teams continue to fight for a place in the first of two knockout rounds.
At the time of writing, Germany and Ivory Coast are both top of Group E with three points each, meaning everything remains to play for in today’s match.
As for Group F, Sweden took first place, but there is still time for the Netherlands or Japan (currently tied for second) to catch up.
