Zendaya and Tom Holland prove that blockbuster premieres and date nights can go hand in hand.
The Hollywood couple turned heads in New York this week when they arrived hand in hand for the Gold House x OpenTable dinner at Japanese restaurant Wokuni, adding another elegant chapter to their whirlwind affair. The Odyssey press tour.
While Zendaya impressed in a sleek black wrap dress and Christian Louboutin heels, Holland kept things classic with a navy sweater and jeans. But it’s not just their fashion that has fans talking.
During a recent Wired interview, Holland delivered one of the most memorable moments of the tour when he was asked if Zendaya’s character Athena had romantic feelings for Ulysses.
“Did Athena love Odysseus romantically? » he read before answering with a smile: “No, because she is married to me. »
Zendaya also shared sweet behind-the-scenes memories of Christopher Nolan’s epic.
Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonshe revealed that she initially thought Holland was the only one joining the cast.
“I mean, he’s the best and he deserves this,” she said. “And I was so excited.”
The surprise came when Holland encouraged her to revise the script.
“Read this again, but with Athena in mind,” he said.
His reaction? Pure disbelief.
“Yo, stop that now,” Zendaya laughs.
Between flirty jokes, coordinated style moments, and genuine support for each other’s careers, the couple has quietly become the unofficial MVP of The Odyssey deployment, proving that sometimes the best love story isn’t just found on screen.
The Odyssey hits theaters July 17.
