We see a new and improved Tyler Reddick during the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season.
Entering the season, he has a total of eight Cup victories – three with Richard Childress Racing in 2022 and five with 23XI Racing in 2023 and 2024. But in 2026 alone, he could match that total as he currently has five wins in nine races. FOX Sports NASCAR analyst Kevin Harvick certainly thinks this mark is possible.
“He’s going to break the record for most wins in a Gen-7 car,” Harvick said on the latest edition of “SPEED With Harvick and Buxton.” “The record is six right now…He’s going to break that record.”
Reddick, Harvick believes, will join Kyle Larson, William Byron and Denny Hamlin in terms of the most victories scored in a single season in the next-generation car, introduced in 2022. It’s a peak he can soon reach thanks to the changes he has made individually and the improvements 23XI Racing has implemented this season.
“When you have the momentum, the car is good, the pit crew, everything is aligned and you have an elite driver – like you do with Tyler Reddick – you can go for it,” Harvick said. “I think the biggest difference between Tyler Reddick and 23XI this year…they’re able to really focus on who they are as a racing team.”
Harvick first noticed him before the Daytona 500. As he prepared for the show, a team member told him that Reddick was already out and ready for his interview. This stood out to Harvick because he had never seen such punctuality from Reddick.
“That was the first time I really heard, ‘Wow, Tyler Reddick is going to take himself to the next level in Cup this year, mentally,’” Harvick said.

Harvick expressed to Reddick that he was impressed that he showed up early and prepared to do the Daytona 500 interview, and Reddick responded:
“I had to change. I had to gather my things. I had to be on time.”
This commitment to preparation was the latest step in Reddick’s rise to elite status. He, Harvick explained, was “handpicked by Hamlin and Michael Jordan” to race for the 23XI because “his abilities in the race car are elite.”
Now that he’s improved mentally and has increased his focus, there’s nothing stopping him from fulfilling Harvick’s prediction and breaking the record for wins in a Cup season in the current generation.
