The United Arab Emirates (Water) will deliver five years to 100,000 Pakistani citizens, the water ambassador Hamad Obaid Al-Zaaabi announced on Wednesday at a meeting with the Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, said Express News.
The ambassador assured that the candidates would receive a “red carpet” and a respectful treatment in the visa centers.
“We will honor the candidates and ensure full cooperation in the Visa Center,” said Ambassador Al-Zaabi, adding that water is eager to strengthen ties with Pakistan through this initiative.
Earlier in the day, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori was warmly received at the Eau Consulate in Karachi. He visited the Visa Center, where the ambassador informed him of the facilities and operations.
Addressing the media after the visit, Governor Sindh expressed his gratitude for the hospitality manifested by water officials. “I was welcomed on a red carpet-a gesture of their affection,” he said.
He also thanked the government of the water for the services and the support provided to the Consulate’s Visa Center and noted the active interest of water for the Special Initiative of the Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
One day earlier, water ambassador Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi at a meeting with Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori announced that Pakistani citizens could now ask five -year visas from the United Arab Emirates.
The announcement follows the confirmation of the water authorities that no visa ban exists for Pakistani nationals.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the new five -year visa policy of the United Arab Emirates obliges candidates to submit return tickets, hotels reservations, proof of property if necessary and a deposit of 3,000 AED.
