Mexico beat South Africa 2-0 on Thursday in the opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The United States men’s national team is now set to kick off its World Cup campaign at home Friday evening in Inglewood, California.
The USMNT and Paraguay will kick off at 9 p.m. ET from Los Angeles Stadium. The USMNT, coached by Mauricio Pochettino, enters Friday in 17th place in the FIFA World Ranking.
