Vicious Vicki is an emerging talent on the women’s wrestling scene, performing for Awesome Championship Wrestling (ACW) among others over the past year.
While Vicki was in the ACW Women’s Title picture, she was recently entered into the tournament to crown Total Nonstop Action Wrestling’s (TNA) first-ever TV Knockouts Champion. TNA presented the belt at Slammiversary and she was one of the independent talents selected to participate.

She spoke to PK Press Club Digital about how she was able to enter the tournament after ultimately losing to Indi Hartwell.
“I had a really good relationship, and I still have a really good relationship with Tommy Dreamer and a lot of the opportunities I had in TNA came from him and he made me win them like I should have,” Vicki said. “I think he played a role in that. But it was a path in TNA for me, about three or four years ago, to get opportunities and take the smaller ones, take the smaller ones, take the smaller ones and then that was probably my first real, like my big match where I got to showcase myself a little bit more, which is awesome.
“No matter what happens, to be able to be a part of TNA history as an unsigned talent, … there were only two independent wrestlers in the entire world in that tournament, mixed with people from WWE. That says a lot to me, and Gabby Forza was the other one, I feel like it says a lot that the work that we’ve put in over the years has really paid off. So no matter what happens, I can say that I have is part of TNA history that cannot be erased.
While TNA has received heavy criticism from fans wanting to predict that the company’s demise is imminent, Vicki suggested that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Vicki spoke about the resilience of TNA and its ability to combat the ebbs and flows that come with any part of the professional wrestling industry.
“I think people like to point the finger at everyone but themselves in life,” she told PK Press Club Digital. “So, I just think a lot of businesses flounder from time to time. It just happens, where there’s ups, there’s downs, there’s ups, there’s downs. That’s the way it is. That’s the way wrestling is. It’s been that way since the beginning of time.
“I think TNA will survive and they’ve survived a lot worse. So, I think right now, for me personally, this is where I want to be. Obviously, I would love to walk down the ramp at WrestleMania, but you have to think realistically and I think it’s a great place for me. I think they’re doing great things. I think TNA is the perfect place. I’m doing it.”
