- LinkedIn Selected to Host Adobe AI Training for Marketing Professionals
- The completed course will be displayed on LinkedIn profiles
- AI literacy job postings are up 113% year over year
Adobe has partnered with LinkedIn to launch its new AI Essentials for Marketers training initiative, in hopes that marketing professionals can stay up to date with the technology and its impacts on their roles.
It is designed to focus on real-world workflows specific to this industry, rather than just offering theoretical knowledge that marketers should translate into their own use cases.
But best of all, the training is available for free through LinkedIn Learning, with additional content hosted on Adobe Experience League.
Adobe will offer AI training to marketers via LinkedIn
It’s unclear how long the training program will last, but Adobe says it’s committed to continually updating the program as AI and marketing practices evolve.
In addition to utilizing Adobe’s expertise in creative software, digital marketing, and AI tools, the training was also designed around LinkedIn’s job market data. The Microsoft-owned platform revealed that the proportion of marketing job postings requiring AI knowledge increased by 113% year-over-year, and that AI skills are now the number one focus area for marketing professionals.
“AI Essentials for Marketers is about more than mastering new tools; it’s about reimagining what creativity, marketing strategy and customer relationships look like in the age of AI,” Adobe CMO Rachel Thornton told Enterprise, noting that “training and reskilling are my priorities for CMOs” in today’s economy.
Content creation, audience targeting, campaign development, and data and insights will be among the key target areas of the training.
And because training is offered through LinkedIn – an increasingly verifiable platform – certificates of completion can be added directly to profiles.
