The Hajj 2025 flight operation calendar from Karachi Jinnah International Airport has been announced.
Jinnah’s Hajj’s Hajj operation should start on April 29, 2025, the Serene Air number 1611 flight leaving for Madina at 10:15 p.m., transporting 285 pilgrims in the Holy Land.
Several other key flights have also been planned as part of the Hajj operation. The first flight of Hajj d’Airblue (PA1766) will leave on April 30, 2025, at 3:40 am, transporting 148 pilgrims.
The first flight of Hajj des Saudi Airlines (flight number 3701) should leave for Madina on May 1, 2025, at 9:15 a.m. with 365 pilgrims on board. Meanwhile, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will launch its first flight from Hajj (PK-743) on May 2, 2025, at 5:55 a.m., carrying 393 pilgrims.
All initial flights will land at Madina airport, but from May 14, 2025, most Hajj flights will leave for Jeddah airport, although some flights to Madina will continue.
The deputy director of Hajj said that the management of Hajj in Karachi, as well as the relevant institutions, is fully ready to ensure a respectful and fluid start for pilgrims. The authorities undertake to provide all possible installations to pilgrims.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia temporarily suspended the issuance of short -term visas for citizens of 14 countries, including Pakistan, from April 13, as part of measures to manage travel flows before the Hajj season, according to Gulf News.
The prohibition applies to visit visas to a single and multiple entry company, electronic visas and family visit visas. The affected countries include India, Egypt, Pakistan, Yemen, Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan, Nigeria, Algeria, Indonesia, Iraq, Sudan, Bangladesh and Libya.
The travelers of these nations who already have valid short -term visas will be allowed to enter the kingdom until April 13, but must leave at the latest on April 29.
