LAS VEGAS– WrestleMania is one of the biggest spectacles in sports.
This is WWE’s premier event, combining the fanfare of the Super Bowl with the hard-hitting action of combat sports. Major feuds within the company will come to an end while fans hope for a major return or surprise appearance from one of their favorite stars.
For the professional wrestlers themselves, the event means a little more. It’s the culmination of everything they’ve worked for and a chance to showcase their skills to an audience of thousands in a stadium and millions at home.

Just look around this room and see that it brings so many people together. There are so many events happening. Many people can come and meet their favorite wrestler. And for me, that’s what it’s all about. No matter what is going on in your life, struggle can take everything away from you and get a little more personal with it. It’s great for me.
Alex Shelley
“A lot of people who don’t watch pro wrestling will watch WrestleMania. I feel like it’s the Mecca to the point where it’s equivalent to the Super Bowl. People who are on the sidelines, who only hear about pro wrestling, are going to watch this event. Our entertainers and our athletes in this company, the people that we’re colleagues with, are going out there and really giving everything they have to capture these people.”
Bayley
“For me, WrestleMania when I was a kid always felt like I was on another planet because of the theater, the stage, the fireworks, the people in costumes – not just the wrestlers and the performers, but the people in the crowd. They treat it like they’re going to prom or a 50th wedding anniversary. They plan all year and they dress up for it and they’re ready. And it seemed like it was on another one. like if it was so out of reach because when you’re in the stadium, everyone that’s there, nothing else matters in the world, you know? Like nothing outside of this stadium matters except what’s there and only you and now 80,000, 90,000 people are experiencing it together.
WRESTLEMANIA 42 CARD REVEALED AS MAIN EVENTS AND MAJOR MATCHES ARE SET
“And for me, it’s a very special feeling that’s hard to explain unless you’re there. Even when you’re watching on TV, it’s like you want to be there. For me, it’s very special because my family and my friends, you know, they can’t come to everything. They can’t come to every match as much as they would like, or WrestleMania is an excuse for them to leave the state, leave their house and come all together and there for me, but it’s just one of the few times where everyone comes together So I think that goes for the fans as well There might be a group of friends that they only see once a year and it’s at WrestleMania or you might only see your crazy uncle at WrestleMania, it just brings family and friends together and it’s a very special night… two nights.

“I think if everyone is on the same page, it’s the pinnacle of everything they’ve worked for all year. It’s the greatest show in professional wrestling. Everyone who puts in that effort makes the show even greater. He’s a showman. He’s the greatest thing in sports entertainment.”
Danhausen
“Everyone grew up watching WrestleMania. As a wrestler, it’s the dream. It’s the No. 1 thing in the wrestling business.”
Jacy Jayne
“I mean, it’s like our Super Bowl. You wait for it all year. It’s where legends are made and it’s the biggest show of the year. There’s so much to do and only the toughest make the card.”
WWE WOMEN’S CHAMPION JADE CARGILL SHARES WHY SHE HAS THE ADVANTAGE OVER RHEA RIPLEY AT WRESTLEMANIA 42
Jade Cargill
“This is our Super Bowl. All of our storylines are coming to an end, but new storylines are forming as well because we have Raw on Monday, which is the biggest Raw of the year after WrestleMania, because the storylines are coming out of ‘Mania. This is the payoff for all of this. Rhea and I’s story started around February at Elimination Chamber, and it came out of nowhere. This is the payoff for everything. These are the biggest matches of the year, the biggest entries of the year, best gear of the year.… These are the biggest entertainment nights of the year. But you see a lot of hard hits and a lot of emotion and that draws people in so much and that’s why we continue to have so many fans who continue to show up and show up for us every year.
Ricky Saints
“WrestleMania is the culmination of all the hard work from the whole year leading up to that moment where you go out there and you show every single person who you are and what you’re made of and I think it’s a great testament to the wrestlers themselves to get to a ‘Mania because it’s like I’m finally able to do what I’ve always dreamed of doing. Everybody wants to wrestle at WrestleMania. Being able to achieve a dream that you have always dreamed of doing since childhood, if you haven’t experienced this, I don’t know, it’s a supernatural feeling to experience.”

“It feels like it’s the first time every year that all of wrestling comes together for one event. So even if you can’t afford tickets to go to WrestleMania, there are all these amazing independent shows happening that week that you can see, and everyone just enjoys wrestling together. Honestly, the Super Bowl of wrestling is the best way to put it. The way I fell in love with wrestling, honestly, was with the smaller shows, to tell the truth. It really, really was.
Sol Ruca
“Hearing some fans talk about what WrestleMania means to them because, again, I didn’t grow up watching wrestling, I was never really a fan, but hearing some fans at meet and greets say, ‘I saved all year for this moment,’ ‘I saved so I could buy this product and so we could go to the show and meet you,’ and it’s just, it’s really, really cool to see how passionate people are.
Tony D’Angelo
“It’s the Super Bowl of professional wrestling. It’s the culmination of everything you’ve done throughout the year. All the hard work. All the training. All the ups and downs of what’s happened throughout the year. I mean, WrestleMania is special. Every WrestleMania, something unexpected happens or someone wins when you didn’t think they would win. It’s always a good time.”
