Prince Harry addressed political leaders in his powerful speech as his father King Charles visits the United States.
The Duke of Sussex made a surprise return to Ukraine to attend the kyiv security conference.
By delivering his speech, Harry sent a clear message to Russian President Vladimir Putin: war benefits no one.
He said: “There is still time – now – to stop this war, to avoid further suffering for both Ukrainians and Russians, and to choose a different path. »
Harry said that conflict offers victory to only one, because ultimately humans must pay the price.
The highlight of his speech was his emotional appeal to US President Donald Trump, asking him to intervene and end the war.
King Charles’ youngest son said: “This is a moment for American leadership – a moment for America to show that it can honor its international treaty obligations. »
“Not out of charity, but because of its enduring role in global security and strategic stability,” added Archie and Lilibet’s father.
He also boosted the morale of Ukrainians, saying that the world sees and respects you in times of extreme crisis.
