Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni may have officially settled their major affair, but the drama between them still isn’t completely over.
Just days after the It Ends With Us settlement, Lively has now asked the court to force Baldoni to pay her legal costs and additional damages related to his previous defamation case against her.
That earlier case sought huge sums of money but had already been thrown out by a judge.
The 38-year-old actress’ legal team is also seeking additional sanctions, saying the lawsuit caused real damage and should not have been filed in the first place.
They argue, however, that people should not be subject to false prosecutions or revenge when they file serious complaints.
Even though both sides recently agreed to a settlement, neither side issued an apology and no money was exchanged in the final deal, which surprised many people after the case.
On Baldoni’s side, this new request will not change much and the judge will make the final decision anyway.
So, even after the settlement, the issue is still not completely settled. Instead, he launched into another round of legal arguments, keeping the situation alive in the public eye.
