Cher accused of ending son’s financial support in court battle

Cher and her son Elijah Blue Allman are once again grappling with family and legal issues as their ongoing legal battle continues to make headlines.

New court documents revealed that Allman claims he stopped receiving the $10,000 monthly financial aid Cher was giving him back in August 2021.

This update comes as he asks the court to reduce the alimony he currently pays to his estranged wife, Marieangela King.

According to reports, Allman said his only regular income now comes from a trust linked to his late father, Gregg Allman.

After taxes, he would receive about $6,790 per month.

The problem arose during Cher’s legal fight to gain control of her son’s estate.

The singer previously argued that Allman’s struggles with substance abuse and mental health prevented him from managing his money properly.

However, a judge denied her latest request for emergency guardianship in April 2026, even though the case is not yet completely over.

Allman has also faced personal difficulties in recent months, including arrests and treatment at a psychiatric facility.

Meanwhile, Cher’s legal team continues to say her actions are motivated by concern for her son’s well-being.
