How to put 2026 FIFA World Cup tickets on sale: Complete guide to the final sales phase

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is approaching with just 50 days to go until the final kickoff.

As the kick-off of football’s biggest showdown approaches, the association has reopened ticket sales for all 104 matches.

The sale is on a first come, first served basis. However, there are concerns over slow demand for the U.S. men’s national team’s expensive opening match against Paraguay.

FIFA announced on Wednesday April 22 that category 1 to 3 tickets and front row seats would be on sale for the tournament being played in the United States, Mexico and Canada. More than five million tickets were sold out of the six million expected.

However, as The Atlantic reports, only 40,934 tickets were purchased for the opening game at SoFi Stadium.

This is even less than the Iran-New Zealand match, where 50,661 tickets were sold for the same venue.

Where to buy tickets for the 2026 FIFA World Cup?

Fans can get their tickets from the official FIFA website. To check hospitality packages, visit the hospitality section. In the final sales phase, tickets will continue to be released until the end of the tournament, and additional tickets will be available on an ongoing basis until July 19.

To book, fans will be directed to digital queues where they can view the match category, select specific seats and make their purchase. Once payment is made, the ticket purchase will be verified.

To reserve seats directly, select the seating chart option to reserve specific seats or use the “reserve best seat” function.
