First Digital Trust Defamation Files Complaint against Justin Sun

The allegations of Justin Sun according to which the goalkeeper of Hong Kong First Digital Trust is insolvent landed in the reticle of a defamation complaint initiated by the company.

The Stablecoin Fdusd of First Digital briefly exceeded on April 3 after Sun said that the company was “insolvent”, although it has since practically recovered, according to data from the Coindesk markets.

The brief quote, the first stage of a defamation complaint, was filed at the end of last week and asks Hong Kong High Court to issue an injunction covering the sun to make other statements on the issue. It also requires an injunction requiring the sun to publish retractions.

He also asks the court to issue a sentence in damages (although he does not specify how much) for “an illegal interference with the contractual and commercial relations of the applicant” and “cause damage to the applicant’s affairs”.

In time since Sun made his first complaint on X that First Digital was insolvent, the founder of Tron has since doubled on the issue, organizing a press conference at the end of last week in Hong Kong, alleging fraud and invoking regulators of the territory to reform the rules concerning fiducies.

For his part, First Digital has published examples of buyouts.

A date for an initial hearing has not been set. Sun has not yet made an answer, but posted on X that he “welcomes any legal process”.

A Sun spokesperson made no comments on the issue.

The case number is HCA 680 before the High Court of Hong Kong.
