- Imran’s accounts would have been used to target the army, Coas Asim Munnir.
- The founder of the PTI capable of dealing with implications in the event of criminal procedure.
- Only the former ex-imprisoned ex-PM, Aleema influences the content shared on these accounts.
Islamabad: The three main accounts of verified and official social media of Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI)-Imrankhan, Tehreek-e-insaf and Ptiofficial-belong to the president of the imprisoned founding group Imran Khan and have currently been directed from abroad to Khan’s teaching by his sister Aleeema Khan.
The official investigation into PTI’s social media platforms – which would have been used to target the army, the head of the army Asim Munnir and for certain aggressive campaigns – shows that these accounts are directed abroad by people designated by Imran, who had created these accounts.
In the event of a criminal procedure on the basis of the government’s investigation, there would be direct implications for Imran Khan, because these accounts would be to share the anti-arm and antlers that belongs to it.
Sources have said that not only Imran himself confirmed this to the FIA in the past, but on some of the leaders of the PTI, who are currently questioned by a joint investigation team (JIT) led by the Islamabad Police Inspector (IGP), also shared the same information.
With the exception of Imran and Aleema, no party leader, including the president of PTI, lawyer Gohar, the secretary general Suleman Akram Raja and even the party secretary of the party, Shaikh Waqas Akram, have any influence or say on the content shared in these accounts, which have a large number of following.
These sources allegedly alleged that Jibran Ilyas and Azhar Mashwani exploit the social media accounts of Imran from abroad. ILYAS, who lives in the United States, is said to be the head of the PTI social media team. It would also be in contact with various V -shaped loggers and social media activists. Mashwani, who was in Pakistan, would have left for the United Kingdom after repression after the 9 post-staff of the authorities against the PTI.
It is alleged that Aleema nourishes the official social media of the party on the instruction of Imran Khan. It would be in regular contact with Ilyas, Mashwani and Ali Malik for the party’s narrative building, social media campaigns and other posts, some of which are considered by the government and the establishment as anti-Armace and Anti-Pakistan. It is said that Aleema is also in contact with certain youtubers, currently abroad.
PTI social media was on the authorities’ radar because of its alleged anti-state and anti-armed content. Some probes were previously carried out while Jit led by the Islamabad IGP was recently set up to probe “malicious campaigns on social networks”.
According to the media, the JIT issued opinions to 15 members of the former part in power. Some of them appeared before the JIT while several others have not yet responded to the opinions of the JIT.
Among the summoned by the JIT, the president of the PTI Gohar, Hammad Azhar, Salman Akram Raja, Raoof Hasan, Asad Qaiser, Aun Abbas and Waqas Akram. Others include Firdous Shamim Naqvi, Khalid Khurshid Khan, Aliya Hamza, Kanwal Shauzab, Taimoor Saleem Khan, Shah Farman, Shehbaz Shabbir and Mian Muhammad Aslam.
The JIT had also summoned 10 members of the PTI social media team, notably AIF Rasheed, Muhammad Arshad, Sibghatullah Warq, Azhar Mashwani, Muhammad Nauman AFZAL, Jibran Ilyas, Syed Salman Raza Zaidi, Zulfi Bukhari, Moosa Warq and Ali Husnain.
