Justice reforms need possession of stakeholders: CJP

Islamabad:

The chief judge of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi held an advisory session at the Supreme Court to hire stakeholders and improve the service of justice services.

The session was aimed at looking for participants’ opinions on specifically and inexpensive reforms, the facilitation of litigants and an integrated political approach to realign the country’s judicial system.

Stressing the role of bar in the administration of justice, the CJP / Chairman of the National Committee (Policy Development) (NJPMC) said that only reforms give results that have the owners of the stakeholders.

He also declared that this session was one of the series of meetings which were held with the stakeholders to obtain comments on the agenda of the next NJPMC meeting.

The participants were informed of the proposed agenda of the NJPMC, which included an institutional response on the cases of forced disappearances.
