“The government has embarked on the progress of Balutchistan”

Islamabad:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed the government’s unshakable commitment to the development of Balutchistan on Tuesday, calling this vital for the global progress of Pakistan.

The Prime Minister spoke to a high -level delegation of Baloutchistan lawyers here at the PM house.

The meeting was followed by the Federal Minister of Law and judge Azam Nazeer Tarar, president of the Association of the Supreme Bar (SCBA) RAUF ATTA, President of the Balutchistan High Court Association (BHCBA) Attaullah Langove, and member of Balouthistan Bar Council Khalil Kakar.

The meeting discussed the current situation of public order and security in Balutchistan.

“Balutchistan’s human resource talent is a precious asset for Pakistan,” added the Prime Minister.

The delegation asked the Prime Minister to play an effective role in improving the situation of the law and the order in Balutchistan.

In this context, the delegation highlighted the key importance of legal actions as well as consultations with political and tribal leadership in the province. They also informed the Prime Minister of their meetings with other political leaders and stakeholders concerning the issue.

The president of the SCBA and the president of the BHCBA informed the Prime Minister of governance issues in Balutchistan and asked for his leaders and advice to resolve all related challenges.

The delegation appreciated the Prime Minister’s commitment to prioritize the development of Balutchistan and the efforts of the federal government for the well-being of the people of the province.

They also praised the initiative of Danish schools which provide quality education to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and asked for the creation of these schools in Khanzi and Mangochar (Kalat).

In addition, the delegation welcomed the hundreds of scholarships previously granted to Balutchistan students for higher education and asked for the rebirth of this program.

The Prime Minister issued immediate directives to the authorities concerned for the implementation of these questions.

Azerbaijan

In addition, the Prime Minister met on Tuesday the Minister of the Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov, as well as his delegation.

The two parties have agreed to further strengthen cooperation in sectors such as minerals and mining, oil exploration, renewable energies, information technologies, development of infrastructure for regional connectivity, defense, hospitality and tourism and human resources development.

The meeting focused on improving the cooperation of Pakistan-Azerbaijan and discussed the increase in investments in various sectors.

The Prime Minister warmly welcomed the Azerbaijani delegation and sent a message of good will for the president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan and Azerbaijan enjoy long -standing fraternal relations based on faith, culture, mutual respect and shared fraternity.
